Please note that we have a new site: LifeScienceHistory.com, "Where history is made daily" under development and delayed by COVID-19, to be launched in 2023 replacing New MexicoLifeScience.com. Regrettably, we are working with reduced staffing and the current industry directory is no longer being maintained, but will be replaced with a new and improved directory upon the launch of the new site. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Company Description
Eta Diagnostics (ETAD) is a pre-revenue startup devoted to the development and commercialization of high throughput “massively parallel” flow cytometry. Using patented and patent-pending acoustic and optical technologies licensed from the University of New Mexico’s Center for Biomedical Engineering (UNM/CBME), the Company is targeting very high volumetric flow rate (50 mL per minute) applications, many of which require detection rates of one million events per second or higher. Examples of such applications include in-line sterility monitoring in pharmaceutical manufacturing and beverage production, waste water treatment, the detection of bladder cancer cells in urine, and the counting and analysis of rare Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) in human blood.
